FIRST IMPRESSION:
Nicole isn't very intimidating, and perhaps that's by design. She's bright, cheery, and tries to make herself approachable. To stand out in a crowd and get picked easily for being noticeable! She's always got color on her nails and plenty of skin showing to catch attention. VOICE:
Energetic, upbeat, and playful bordering on flirty. One wouldn't say Nicole speaks "roughly," but she does have an informal yet slightly bossy air about her. Here is a voice clip of her in 4 different languages.FEATURES:
Nicole's skin is peppered with beauty marks. The most visible ones are under her left eye, on her left breast near her cleavage, and on the top of her inner thigh on her right side.
History
Nicole is the leader of a ragtag band of misfits called the "Cunning Hares". What originally started as 'Gentle House', an odd-job agency to help people on the streets, gained a new nickname because of the quick-witted (if a bit clumsy in execution) negotiation tactics used during negotiations. While claiming to do almost any job "if the price is right," the Cunning Hares tend to have a habit of falling on the side of "good". As a group of orphaned and/or discarded individuals they're a wacky group that acts like they'll do what they need to survive, but in reality they're more likely to follow where their empathy leads them.
Perhaps this is by design. Nicole herself grew up in an orphanage, is rumored to have been adopted by a notably prestigious family, and yet still parted ways with them to live on the streets. Despite her nature to turn every sale into a bargain and every hassle into a haggle, the group still seems to have endless money troubles, and never seems to get their books out of the red. Even so, the Cunning Hares still manage to survive, and while their reputation for grifting isn't all positive... they are still well known for getting the job done with no stone left un-turned.

• Licenses are needed for hollow investigation and she regularly waits for hers to be near expiry before renewal to maximize the time between registration
• She does not have a driver's license but she does have a pending application for one
• Nekomata comments how impressed she is with how Nicole is able to act like normal despite shouldering/juggling all the debts that the Cunning Hares have. This can either be taken that Nicole just pushes it all out-of-sight & out-of-mind, or one can infer she acts this way as to not worry the people she looks out for — implying any stress or worrying is done in secret
• The rumor about Nicole being adopted by a well-to-do family and leaving them is curious to me. If it's true why would a wealthy family adopt someone like Nicole? Why would she leave? Would it be because of her bombastic personality, or perhaps her moral compass conflicted with the family's business?
With these in mind I'm tempted to say Nicole is both solidly an adult and somewhat older than the rest of the ragtag group she helps care for. If the Cunning Hares are short on money she makes sure everyone eats and survives instead of receiving "salary". She's always scamming but forwarding any "profits" over to orphanages. While she acts ditzy and aloof there's evidence that she uses her resourcefulness and cunning to help those less fortunate. She masks generosity and maturity beneath her "Hardened Life on the Streets+Failgirl" outer shell respectively.
